The level of literacy and the quality of education in any nation determine its progress. Sadly, Pakistan's literacy rate has been a source of concern ever since the country gained independence.

Individuals accept that no one but training can assist them with picking up something before going into useful life. However, if we look at the education system in Pakistan, many bad things are happening, including cramming, which causes students to fail. Cramming is remembering a passage. In our educational system, cramming has become a common practice.

We are all aware that Pakistan does not speak English as its native tongue. Students in Pakistan speak English as their second language. It's hard for students to understand because they don't know much about English. Fluency, vocabulary, and self-assurance in speaking English are all lacking among students. When writing or speaking English, improper punctuation and a lack of comprehension of the grammatical structure are common errors. Therefore, students are compelled to memorize the syllabus by cramming from junior level to intermediate level and from intermediate level to university level. Their English-language science concepts are also unclear, leading them to cram. Students, as well as teachers who encourage them to become crammed, commit the same error. The British education system (O/A level) is more advanced than the Pakistani education system (Matriculation/Intermediate).

This is because conceptual comprehension of the topic is all that is used in British examinations. In addition, Board System does not want students to have to search through their answer keys to find answers. Therefore, being proficient in English also contributes to eradicating the disparity that exists between the elite class (studying under the British education system) and the middle class (studying under the Pakistani education system), as well as assisting Pakistani students in obtaining favorable employment opportunities, as British students do.

Because of this, I went to a school where students from a variety of fields, who had good degrees and jobs, were learning English because they couldn't even write or speak English fluently. Because they are crammed, they have good jobs and degrees. There, I met Sir Tanveer, a teacher who taught English so well from the beginning, but he lacked the resources to help his cause and was also unaware of the technology. Therefore, I want to assist them in promoting this noble cause via social media and in organizing seminars and awareness programs at various universities to end the cramming system in our educational system.

Conclusion:

It is a known fact that Pakistan has a lot of talent here but it will move towards waste if we will not change our education system. Students must be encouraged to express themselves creatively through writing in their own words, and the practice of cramming should be abolished forever. The world which is today that stands is in the hands and is controlled by those who know. So, our peace & progress is mainly based and dependent on educating the next generation, the right way.

We have been able to achieve great things due to our hardworking people who have contributed to our success in many fields. Our educational system should take this as an example and make sure that every student gets an opportunity for education no matter how poor or rich they are. The government should also make sure that there are enough resources available for students at all levels so that they are not limited by financial issues even after graduation from school or college/university-level studies
